We are open every day of the year, except Christmas!

Our doors are open at 9am and we close at 5pm. Last entry is at 4.30pm, but we suggest you arrive earlier to see everything properly!

Nope! All visitors can simply arrive at reception and our staff will help you from there.

The only exception is if you are a school group which case please get in touch beforehand.

We have a large number of free roaming animals and some may feel inclined to interact with you! Rabbits and guinea pigs are especially partial to a bit of attention as well as some of our birds; remember they were all pets once!

However, it is important to remember that we never force our animals to interact with humans. In our cage-free tropical gardens there are a lot of animals that you can enjoy watching, without barriers, whilst maintaining a respectful distance.

We are a fantastic wet weather choice as most of our exhibits are either inside or covered. Where else can you enjoy being in a tropical garden, surrounded by exotic birds, whilst listening to the sweet sound of raindrops outside?

All our animals are exotic pets that have been donated to the sanctuary by their previous owners. We are a sanctuary for animals in need. We never buy, sell or breed our animals.

Absolutely! Education is a huge part of our work and we love to work with both schools and homeschool groups.

We offer school group discounts, and can work with schools to offer a memorable education experience. Please get in touch so we can work together.
